Linius' patented Video Virtualization Engine(tm) analyzes and transforms your video source assets into a Virtualized asset record that is optimized for data enrichment, reassembly, and personalization. This Virtualization process takes only a few seconds per asset, without any re-encoding and leaving your original source files in their original locations.
Follow these simple steps to add Virtualized Video to your LVS Account:
- Ensure that your source asset meet these file requirements.
- Log into LVS.LINIUS.COM navigation, and click on the "Media" section the left navigation bar.
- In the top-right corner, click on the "Discover an Asset" button to open the "Virtualize your own video asset" dialog box.
- In the dialog box, complete the following fields:
- Video Name - This is a text description of your video that will appear within lvs.linius.com, and can be used to identify this video within your own LVS-integrated application's user interface).
- Tags (Optional) - Use tags to organize your asset library, or to create clip search filters in your application.
- Format - Select MP4 or HLS
- Video URL - Enter a publicly-accessible, HTTPS URL for your source asset.
- Status - Enter "Active" or "Inactive" to indicate whether you want this assets' clips to appear within search results.
- Optional step - Enter Start & End Dates - If you're planning to filter or sequence video clips according to dates (e.g. displaying a video ad within a specific flight dates, or sequencing basketball footage chronologically by game date), you can enter a start date and/or an end date.
To enter dates, click the arrow by the "Status" field to display the date fields, and enter your dates. - Click the "Virtualize" button to start the virtualization process. Your virtualized asset will appear the Media List.
