Users can access advanced search capability to search across ALL assets, filter and explore the video clips and view clip level data to find their desired moments. The free text search bar is available on the “Home” and “Explore” tabs.
As the user starts typing, relevant auto suggestions will appear. As the system is used at a large scale, the auto suggestions will perform better with time.
In the search bar, users can enter free text and search for the specific moments of interest at a video clip level. The search results will appear as a list of video clips as in the illustration.
The count of the search result will appear once a search is performed.
Each clip will have tags highlighting the key metadata and tags from this clip as well as asset level data the clip is related to so that it would give the users, at a glance, an understanding of what this clip is. Hovering over each clip in your search results, you'll find 3 possible actions:
- Add to timeline: selecting this will add the clip to the timeline of the project at the bottom of the page. (see Step 3)
- Clip information: selecting this will open a display with the clip information and the details of the asset it is from
- Play clip: selecting this will open the player window and display the clip information. Detailed clip level information along with the asset(game) level details can also be viewed inside the preview panel after clicking on ‘Play Clip’
Users can also find a recommendation carousel in the clip preview panel that will recommend relevant clips to the clip that is being previewed on the player. This carousel is dynamic, and it will reload as the user is exploring the search results
